In Managing Modern Desktops with Intune Training (MD-101), you will learn how to deploy and manage azure AD joined devices, secure your private store and ensure the security of your endpoint devices through windows assessment and deployment tools. You will learn to use Microsoft Store for Business, to manage vulnerabilities and improve the security of your devices through deployment workbench, management tools and azure active directory. Additionally, you will be trained on how to use Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Windows Deployment Services for effective endpoint deployment and management.
You will also learn about the Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) and how to use Microsoft Intune for the management of mobile devices, boot image, and security of your devices. Managing Modern Desktops Training Prerequisites
The Modern Desktop Administrator must be familiar with M365 workloads and must have strong skills and experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and later and non-Windows devices. The MDA role focuses on cloud services rather than on-premises management technologies.
It is recommended students complete course 8535, Windows Client (MD-100), before taking this course.

This course can help you prepare for the following Microsoft role-based certification exam — MD-100: Windows 10.
This module explains the concepts of supporting the desktop through its entire lifecycle. Finally, students will be introduced to the tools and strategies used for desktop deployment. Students will be introduced to the concept of a directory in the cloud with Azure AD. Students will learn the similarities and differences between Azure AD and Active Directory DS and how to synchronise between the two. Students will explore identity management in Azure AD and learn about identity protection using Windows Hello for Business, as well as Azure AD Identity Protection and multi-factor authentication.
